Tom Schneider, Joins WSOP School of Poker

Tom Schneider
This has been a long time coming.  Finally, the WSOP School of Poker is proud to welcome Mr. Tom Schneider. As of 2017, his total live tournament winnings exceed $2,400,000.  His 4 bracelets, 34 cashes and 10 Final Tables at the WSOP account for $1,600,000 of those winnings.
When he was 19 and attending Arizona State University, Tom’s sister gave him Super System by Doyle Brunson.  It wasn’t long before Tom was making a regular trip to Las Vegas to play limit hold’em.  While he was receiving a degree in finance and accounting, Schneider was furthering his education in poker and stepping up in limits.

After college, Tom got a job in the golf industry and supplemented his income with poker.  After climbing the corporate ladder to become president of Royal Precision, Tom struck out on his own and wrote the poker book, Oops, I Made Too Much Money, and left the corporate world behind.
At the 2007 World Series of Poker Schneider won his first two WSOP bracelets, one in Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or Better/Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo and the second in Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo. He also made the final table of the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event, finishing in fourth place. These finishes earned him the 2007 WSOP Player of the Year award.
On September 16th, 2008, Schneider won the event #24 of the World Championship of Online Poker, a $530 buyin No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw tournament. Schneider, who uses the name ‘luvgamble’ on PokerStars, bested a field of 308 to win the $42,000 first prize.
Schneider won his third bracelet in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event at the 2013 World Series of Poker, defeating Owais Ahmed heads-up to win $259,960. He then won his fourth bracelet in the $5,000 H.O.R.S.E. event defeating Benjamin Scholl. With that win, he became the first person in WSOP history to win multiple mixed game bracelets in the same WSOP.
